Who should show up this morning but a rather frazzled, worn-out looking man in a FedEx uniform, straight from Saipei, China?

Well, okay, it probably wasn’t the same guy who accepted the nondescript box on the shipping dock, or the guy that flew the plane to Anchorage… or the planes to Memphis, Milwaukee, and Appleton, either. In fact, he probably just drove it over from the airport this morning, now that I think about it. But no matter. My iPod mini has arrived!!

So far all I’ve done is unpack it from the box and get it a-charging. In the next 20 minutes or so it will have gotten its full 4 hours, and then comes the task of loading it up with tunes. Woohoo!

So far, iPodLounge seems to be the best-assembled collection of tidbits about iPods that I’ve found (both archetypal and mini). Plenty of interesting reading and the site layout doesn’t make my brain bleed… at least not much. Let me know if you have a favorite of your own.
