Say, did anyone else notice that the signs in the convention crowd were misspelled?

A-H-N-O-L-D. Where’s the “R” in “Ahnold”?! Sheesh, some people…

Seriously, folks, this is an incredible speech. I know some don’t think he’s being inclusive enough, but it’s obvious that Gov. Schwarzenegger is touching on broadly appealing, common desires for our country.

MORE: Michelle doesn’t read weblogs (well, except your other blog, anyway?ed) and yet, after watching Laura Bush for a bit, our first dialog went something like this:

“Laura Bush speaks with such power, integrity, and quiet dignity. She really reminds me of?”

I interrupt, anticipating her answer: “her mother-in-law?”

“? Barbara Bush. Exactly! I’m not political, and there aren’t many people that I really respect, but I would really like to meet either of those women… that would be amazing.”

It seems she’s not alone.
