I’ll admit, the vast majority of news reports I’ve seen have been of the “doom and gloom” variety regarding what happens following the elections in Iraq. It’s hard to put much stock into these reports, though, because I have the distinct impression that the media doesn’t understand the situation in Iraq any better than the U.S. administration.
