In spite of escalating bombings, Iraqis seem more determined than ever to hold elections later this month.

The Tuesday, December 21Washington Post headline, “Bush Acknowledges Impact of Insurgents,” spins comments from President Bush on the violence in Iraq. That’s not the whole story, however; IraqiPundit enlightens us on the details that didn’t make it into the story.

The sad part about this is that I regularly talk to friends outside of the U.S. who have no clue that Post-esque headlines may not be the whole truth of the situation.
